Free DVDs from Netflix!
Yes,
you can get 3 free dvds from NetFlix. There is a catch. (There is always a
catch).
You have to return them after you watch them! But they are
completely free, with no shipping. It is part of a DVD rental service. If you
like the service, you can join after you get your 3 free DVDs. Keep in mind,
they will automatically charge a membership fee if you don't return your DVDs
after 2 weeks and cancel your membership. After the membership is cancelled you
can rejoin with a new email address.
The nice thing is that they carry all the new DVD releases like Star Wars, Mummy
Returns, Jurassic Park 3, Pearl Harbor, Grinch, Mulan Rouge, etc. The only trick
is that you don't really pick 3 DVDs. Instead, you pick 3 DVDs, and 7 backups.
That way they can send you an alternate if your primary selection is completely
rented.
Its good for those movies like Pearl Harbor and Planet of the Apes (2000) which
are only good the first time you watch them. The trial membership lasts 2 weeks,
but it might take up to a week for them to ship the 3 DVDs, so make sure you
mail them back after you watch them. You could even copy the audio commentaries
to tape and listen to them in your car on the way to work....
Its actually a pretty good service if you watch allot of DVDs, since it is
cheaper then renting from Blockbuster, plus there is NO LATE Fees. If you do
join, keep in mind that multiple DVD sets are considered SEPARATE for rental
purposes.
